Saturday, October 25 and Halloween night
There are several opportunities to do some trick-or-treating near the resort. Trick-or-treating on the Bagnell Dam Strip in Lake Ozark kicks off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 and lasts until early evening. Visit Bagnell Dam shops for Halloween treats and bring your ghosts and goblins to Luby's Parking Lot for games and a costume contest at 4 p.m. For more information, call 573-365-7132.
The Osage Beach Premium Outlets invites families out to its annual Trick-or-Treat Off-the-Street event on Halloween. Complete with trick-or-treating at participating stores from 2-7 p.m., a costume contest for different age categories from 5-7 p.m. and other Halloween activities through the night, this popular Halloween event is one not to miss. "Walk on the Rocks" at Hy-Vee in Osage Beach will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Halloween night. Children can walk through a maze set up in the parking lot of Hy-Vee and trick-or-treat. Lake Wine Trail Holiday Pairings Event

Holiday food pairings with local wine at The Landing On Main Street in Osage Beach. This event is a food drive for the Central Mo Food Bank. For $10, each person will receive a souvenir wine glass, holiday foods prepared by each winery paired with their wines. There will be wine available for purchase and live music provided by the talented Samaria Grace. Participating wineries are Shawnee Bluff Vineyard and Winery, Sugarloaf Vineyards, Golden Rock Winery, Casa De Loco and Seven Springs Winery. Enjoy good wine, food and great music while raising funds for needful families for the holidays. It's Woodstock on Wheels!
Each participating location will have a band for your enjoyment. Rock, Blues, Country, Alternative and Classical (well maybe not the classical) whatever is your brand we will have it in “Lake of the Ozarks’ style. Lake Stock apparel and wrist bands sold at participating locations starting October 1st.
Cost: $10:00 gets you an all access pass to every participating location along with bus transportation to and from! That’s one $10 cover charge for 10 plus locations offering live music and a safe ride home! Wrist band required after 7pm to enter any of the participating bars and to ride the buses.
Enchanted Village of Lights

The City of Laurie presents the Enchanted Village of Lights at the Laurie Fairgrounds. Guests are invited to drive-thru more than 200 displays as part of this annual tradition at the 27-acre fairgrounds. The park is open from 5 to 9 p.m. each night through Jan. 1. Adopt a Duck for a Buck and cheer it along as the duck race in our lazy river. The sponsor of the first duck crossing the finish line wins a prize. Must be present to win. Entry to view race is complimentary. Regular rates apply for entry to play.

St. Patrick's Festival of Lights

The Festival of Lights at the Shrine of St. Patrick, Hwy 5, Laurie, is the oldest light park in the area. It was started in 1981 with hundreds of lights decorating the buildings and grounds and has continued to grow each year. With 4,000 strings of lights, over 60 automatic timers and more than 350 extension cords, the Festival of Lights has turned into one of the major places to see. Instead of animated displays, the focus is on the true meaning of Christmas, Jesus and His Mother, Mary.
St. Patrick Festival of Lights will be open daily from 6 – 10 p.m. from Thanksgiving through January 1st. There is no charge for this beautiful light display, it is simply their gift to the community.

Versailles Unity Circle Of Lights

For the 8th straight season, the city of Versailles will light up its city park for the Unity Circle of Lights from Nov. 26 - Jan. 1. The holiday light park is named after the "Unity Circle," a monument erected at the park entrance to show cooperation among various entities in the community.
The Unity Circle of Lights is located at the junction of Highways 5 and 52 and will feature as many as 40 lighted displays, including several animated holiday scenes for the family. The park is open from dark until midnight and admission is free.

Christmas on the Square in Camdenton is held on the Camden County Courthouse lawn from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Admission is free, however, bring canned goods for special drawings. 29th Annual Christmas Parade

Celebrate the Christmas season with the 30th Annual Christmas Parade featuring a variety of floats and Santa Claus riding Lake-style in his boat led by reindeer. In addition, children can visit with Santa at “The White House” building located on Bagnell Dam Strip. Parade line-up is along Route 242 and travels down the Bagnell Dam Strip. Breakfast with Santa

The seventh annual Relay for Life Breakfast With Santa will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 in Salon C at Tan-Tar-A. Cost is $5 per person with children under 1 free. Included is breakfast, a visit with Santa and a variety of other activities. Pictures with Santa will be an additional $5. Some of the Christmas activities are decorating cookies, making crafts, designing cards, writing a letter to Santa and mailing it, Christmas coloring pages, etc. We also offer a Christmas silent action with items for the whole family. Also planned are live Christmas music and the LOZ Community Dance Project. People attending are asked to bring an unwrapped book or toy, which will be collected and donated to the Lake Area Christmas for Kids later in the evening. The Yellow Rose Relay for Life Team is sponsoring the Breakfast With Santa. All money raised at the breakfast will go to the American Cancer Society. Moms, dads and kids can come together under one roof to celebrate the most festive night of the year with enough thrills and excitement to please everyone. Adults looking to relax will enjoy floating down the lazy river or soaking in the hot tub at Tan-Tar-Resort's Timber Falls Indoor Waterpark. Young children will have fun exploring a three-story treehouse with a 700 gallon tipping bucket and sliding down four waterslides encompassing 600 feet of slides. Lake of the Ozarks Eagle Days

Get out your coats, hats and gloves for one of the most popular winter events at the Lake of the Ozarks. Highlights of the program include live eagles from the world Bird Sanctuary with naturalists on hand to answer questions at Osage National Golf Resort. The programs will begin on the hour each day of the event. The Astronomy Club will be available at Willmore Lodge for eagle viewing. Eagle watch cruises (weather permitting) will be offered by the Paddlewheeler Tom Sawyer on Saturday and Sunday for $5 per person. Visitors are urged to bring binoculars and cameras for optimal viewing and photo opportunities of wild eagles at Willmore Lodge and below the Bagnell Dam on the Osage River. This event is free (except for small charge for the boat cruise) and open to the public. The event will be from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
