Tan-Tar-A Resort has been in the Internship/Co-op training program for more than thirty years. This program offers a unique, educational work experience for students. As a leader in the hospitality industry and Missouri's most award winning resort, our programs provide students with a "hands-on" practical approach to learning.
We welcome students on a year round basis. Students may participate in paid 3-18 month programs. Those students who stay for an extended period of time usually rotate through two or more different departments. Each structured program allows students to become familiar with the property, share experiences, set goals for learning and to understand performance expectations. Although students will rotate within their individual departments, we have incorporated a "Specialization Week" which gives the students the opportunity to observe other departments in the resort atmosphere.
